Dinos tend to get stressed to the point of breaking out to quickly, especially on species that already have a somewhat large social/population range. Sleep! more natural thing to do instead of only eat, wander and want to break out if another dino got added to the pen a large distance away. making a large pen with a sort of ecosystem impossible.Īlthough chases often ended up with the herb dead, the chase itself would often take a while, not the idiotic times right now were a prey animal/goat/cow would stand still and be appearantly oblivious to the heavy stomping behind it. Predators werent Indominus style murder machines that clean a whole herd of prey animals within 3 min. The only thing that is better is the mail system with all the messages that can be opened when you have time for it instead of missing them like in JW:E cuz you're doing something else. Sonme research and dna extractiom but thats it. Theres hardly any management in JPOG, a lot of it waiting, a short burst of expansion and more waiting. And then they become income source cuz you sell the 100% genomes automatically.įrom time to time you just send them somewhere else but surely those 15 species (5 digsites 3 species each) give soooo much customization right.right! Cuz you take 3 automaticaly if you want Spino, Rex and Raptor so.you only pick 1 site really.įor all the shouting on this forum on how JPOG is superiour I whole-heartedly disagree. Sometimes they get fossil or amber or nothing or gems. Yeah but mah digsites better!!! Oh sure, you get dig team, place m on digsite and wait. The only price I raised was park entry and that was so ridiculous I could triple the price between 0 and 1 star and still it'd be moderately soon, so thats broken and I sat at max price 3 stars in.

JPOG animals couldn't care less if its 100 animals or 1.īut mah park management!! Oh, those janitors you dump down and forget about? Those builfings you dump down and set prices for.once.

JW:E animals actually get stressed without same specie animals. Sure, "herding" is a thing but at the same time not. JPOG AI has dinos run half a mile against the fences, JW:E AI atleast recognise the fences. So, does it allow for much customization in terms of buildings? Not really, fewer buildings than JW:E.ĭoes it have better dino AI? Not really, it just uses the AI differently. I doubt many of them saw the Raptors or T-Rex. They seemed more interested in the amenities than the dinosaurs. That just ignored parts of my park for whatever reasons. So I'm failing to see the things JPOG does actually better, aside from the visitors. Sure, raptors picked a single cow to eat but thats it.

So, how did I spend most of my time? Well, I waited.I waited on new fossils that were brought in through digsites and I waited on new fossils through the fossil market. I checked fence for damage, only the large herbivore paddock showed some signs of damage. Raptors, T-Rex and Acracanthosaurus never tried to escape, despite low security fence. Once they were gone the visitor count stabilised again. Guests hardly have any input, the only noticeable input was when I hit a Gallimimus with the safari car and people shouted abuse. Herding, sure, animals of the same species stay relatively together but they also just bugger off in random directions. Ok, so I played it yesterday, large map sure but I only used 1/5th of the island to get 5*. So.argument #1 "JPOG waz better" but it really wasn't.
